Our School P and C are looking for a Tuckshop helper to run our School Tuckshop one day per week at first break.

If you are interested in applying for this role, please contact Sue Ward (Business Manager) who will be able to provide further information on behalf of the P and C Association.

Role of the Tuckshop in Schools:  (when in operation)

The Parents & Citizens Association (P&C) run the tuckshop and at Glenwood State School, who offer a healthy tuckshop menu with both students and parents in mind.

We'd like parents to feel comfortable to order their child's lunch knowing that they will receive a fresh and healthy option each and every time.  It is important for us, as a school community, for parents to know that the tuckshop is endeavouring to keep the menu nutritious with good quality foods available with a good choice of options.

Our school would like to work with parents in promoting a healthy diet in an environment that supports a healthy lifestyle so that our children can improve in both their academic performance and behaviour. Good food combined with physical activity provided through physical education classes and playtime, plays
an important role in the wellbeing of our children.
